The outburst of COVID19 has put the world in a public health crisis. The Maharashtra Urban WASH & Environmental Coalition has taken numerous dedicated measures to support the local governments, civil societies and local organisations to combat this unprecedented situation. Moving forward, health and safety will now remain one of the top priorities, and for this, the efficiency of urban public sanitation and health facilities is being strengthened and revamped. Multi-stakeholder interventions will be critical and instrumental for mitigating the challenges and responding to the needs of the vulnerable groups.
