The Policy & Advocacy vertical of the Maharashtra Urban WASH-ES Coalition seeks to foster strategic collaboration of government departments, development partners, think tanks and sector experts for influencing policy decisions, while also promoting citizen engagement. Through policy discourse, review of existing policies, government resolutions and circulars, the Coalition promotes a common understanding of complexities in the sector, in alignment with the Government mandate aimed at pursuing and promoting safe WASH services.
